Multiplier Points

Multiplier points act on your base level points, increasing them based on your engagement. There are two types of multipliers:

1. PointsLocker Boosts (PLB)

   • Lock your points in 6-hour intervals

   • Each successful 6-hour lock increases your PLB by 0.125x (12.5%)

   • Example: With 1000 base points and 4 locks, you'll accrue points at 2x rate (1000 * (2 * accrual rate))

   • The accrual rate is determined by the number of users and points issued on the application

2. Streaks Boost (SB)

   • Achieved by consecutively relocking your points

   • Increases your multiplier by 0.25x (25%) per streak

   • Only counts if the new streak is longer than your previous record

   • Example:

     • User A: 15 locks, longest streak of 5

       • 15 PLBs (1.875x) + 5 SBs (1.25x) = 3.125x total multiplier

     • User B: 9 consecutive locks

       • 8 PLBs (1.125x) + 8 SBs (2.25x) = 3.375x total multiplier
